The day got off to a rough start. My morning started with me realizing I slept in to late, then found out my brand new hair straightener was crap. And on top of that, I put to much product in my hair so I felt like a flat haired, greasy mess. The three key points of this story is bird sh*t & oils.
As we pulled out of the drive way and headed down the highway a bird dropped a sh*t bomb on my window. “Great,” I said. “So that’s how this day is going to go.” Turned out to be a big ugly bug with white guts but still. It was right in my direct line of sight so I had to stare at it the whole ride to school.
I would have used my window wipers to clean it off but for some reason my squirter’s aren’t working. Instead of smearing it across my windshield, eww, I opted to look around it.
We all have day’s like these. It’s truly the little things, good or bad, all added up that can make a day… good or bad. Am I right?
It’s day’s like this I really pull my oil’s off the shelf and apply liberally! I’m talking 5 drops per application. You can use just one but this was a 5 drop day, okay.
My favorites for day’s like these are:
- Stress Away
- Peace & Calming
My favorite diffuser blends:
- 3 drops Stress Away, 3 drops Lime.
- 4 drops Joy, 2 drops Peppermint
- 3 drops Lavender, 3 drops Cedarwood – my personal blend for beauty sleep.
Essential oils can change the atmosphere in your home simply by diffusing, or just support your mood by applying directly.
They are filled with constituents that can support your immune system (Thieves), your digestive system (Digize), your brain health (Frankincense) and so. much. more.
I also use them to make an AMAZING face serum for pennies on the dollar.
I started oiling about 3 years ago and had no idea what I was missing out on until then! All I can say is, if you don’t have essential oils, you my friend, are missing out! If you are the slightest bit interested in becoming an oiler, check out my Get Started with Essential Oil’s page for more info 🙂
All in all my day wasn’t terrible, though I am glad to see it end. I look forward to starting fresh again in the a.m. I think that’s why I love mornings so much. Everything, even the air, is so fresh and clean. It’s a new start and who doesn’t want to take advantage of that!
