I love a good quote. To be completely honest, God has used many a quote to put thing’s back into perspective and to keep me moving forward. There are days as a mom, as a wife, as a human’s that can weigh so heavy on our hearts. Sometimes a simple reminder that you are enough, is all you need. Here are my Top 5 inspiring quotes for this week!
Balance. This quote reminds me there must be balance in all things.
There are times I want to finish something so badly that it becomes my main and only focus. This ultimately leads to frustration and very cranky mama. A break can be so refreshing and often times, it’s when I walk away and begin to think of something else that a solution arises.
This reminds me of the bible verse in Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
He is preparing a way for us. If we can just rest and trust that He will work it all out in time than we can find peace and beauty in the moment.
Another verse comes to mind form Philippians 1:6 – For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
He will finish what He has started in you. I’ve always found great peace in knowing He is simply not done working on, or with me yet! This is not the end, we will continue on.
What is it that makes me think I should be able to do everything? And not just everything, but all of it in one day? Do you ever put the weigh of the world on your shoulder this way? What a beautiful reminder for us.
I’ve heard this quote several different times from several different people. I feel it all comes back to balance. Knowing our limits and taking time to stop, catch our breathe and live in the present.
Balance is key
There was at theme to these quotes and it was REST, followed shortly by BALANCE. A reminder that maybe we can draw peace from in with the week to come.
